It's a long story...

I've been fortunate enough to spend my life with amazing people, in breathtaking places and making an impact on the community around me. In the wandering, meandering path that I've taken thus far, I've consistently fed off the energy of those around me and developed a strong passion for working with organizations aiding populations in need. 

I think that the term 'non-profit' sucks. I think that our idea of charity is completely broken. I think that there needs to be a mechanism to incentivize M&A within the 501c3 world. I think that social media is hurting philanthropic and volunteer endeavors. I think that there are incredible organizations with innovative ideas ready to break through to the next level.

I use this website to share my musings on the world and showcase some of the exciting work that I've been able to get my hands on. There will likely be an occasional corny joke or two and occasionally a motivational quote mixed in with longer posts.
